Josephine

Josephine is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and member of the AASW. She has extensive experience in the mental health sector as a both a clinician and manager. She has worked as a social worker and social work manager and director across several agencies, including ACT Mental Health, the Family Court of Australia, Centrelink, and the Department of Defence.
In the last 6 years she has been the Co Ordinator of the outpatient group therapy Day Program for the private psychiatric facility Hyson Green, as well as working as a clinician within the inpatient mental health program. She has run psychoeducation group programs for Anxiety, Depression, and Individual Mood Disorders, as well as provided individual supportive psychotherapy, utilising a range of focussed psychological strategies. Josephine has undertaken specialised training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), and Motivational Interviewing. She values the opportunity to support people in their journey towards healing, growth, and recovery.
