Welcome to Canberra DBT!

Canberra DBT is comprised of a group of mental health professionals, psychologist and social workers, who have a keen interest in helping individuals have a life worth living.

We have undertaken specialist training in providing a comprehensive and adherent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) program to individuals who struggle with emotion regulation, impulse control, and relationships.  We have been providing this therapy for over 10 years and have seen many positive outcomes for clients who have struggled with suicide, self harming, and emotion dys-regulation.

Practitioners who are involved in this empirically validated approach have developed skills in working with clients in a collaborative manner, to help each individual reach their desired goals.  We work in this program because we believe in its efficacy and benefit.
