Josephine is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and member of the AASW. She has extensive experience in the mental health sector as a both a clinician and manager. She has worked as a social worker and social work manager and director across several agencies, including ACT Mental Health, the Family Court of Australia, Centrelink, and the Department of Defence.
In the last 6 years she has been the Co Ordinator of the outpatient group therapy Day Program for the private psychiatric facility Hyson Green, as well as working as a clinician within the inpatient mental health program. She has run psychoeducation group programs for Anxiety, Depression, and Individual Mood Disorders, as well as provided individual supportive psychotherapy, utilising a range of focussed psychological strategies. Josephine has undertaken specialised training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), and Motivational Interviewing.
